The first annual J-Club Golf Outing is an opportunity to celebrate
and support Juniata’s tradition of athletic
excellence. Whether you're a scratch golfer, a weekend
hacker, or you've never picked up a club, your support of this
event will make an immediate impact on the success of our student
athletes and the quality our athletic programs. Our goal is to
have all athletic programs across all eras represented. The
event is more than just an opportunity to get together.
We want you to reconnect with old teammates, visit old friends
and make new ones, and meet the staff. But we do this
with purpose: the golfing will be great, but we gather to
support Juniata athletes.
We have a great tradition and great pride because of many present and past who have supported those who wear the blue and gold. Let’s keep it going. I look forward to seeing you show your commitment at the 2013 Golf Outing.

EVENT SCHEDULE
9:30 a.m. Registration and Open Range
9:45 a.m. Welcome/Introduction
11:00 a.m. Shot Gun Start (Lunch provided on the course.)
4:00 p.m. Cocktail Hour (beer & wine)
5:00 p.m. Dinner Buffet, Auction, Awards
Limited to 120 Golfers. Reservations on a first come first serve basis.
• Take Interstate 99 (Route 220) to Altoona and Get off at the FRANKSTOWN ROAD EXIT.
• Follow exit to stop light.
• Make a right and follow Frankstown Road over the top of the mountain.
• As you approach the bottom of other side, there is signage for Scotch Valley Country Club.
• Make a left and follow Scotch Valley Road for 4.5 miles.

The entrance to the club is at the top of the hill, just after you
pass the SVCC maintenance
facility.
From Interstate 99 North (Bedford, Turnpike, Ebensburg)
• Take Interstate 99 (Route 220) to Altoona and Get off at the FRANKSTOWN ROAD EXIT.
• Follow exit to stop light. Make a left and follow Frankstown Road over the top of the mountain.
• As you approach the bottom of other side, there is signage for Scotch Valley Country Club.
From Route 22 (Huntingdon, Lewistown, Hollidaysburg)

Follow Route 22 to Intersection with FRANKSTOWN ROAD (located
between Hollidaysburg and
Geeseytown).
• Make right turn onto Frankstown Road and follow for about 1/2 mile.
• You will see signage for Scotch Valley Country Club.
• Make a right and follow for 4.5 miles.
From Route 36 South (Patton & Punxsy)

Follow Route 36 through Altoona until it meets Pleasant
Valley Boulevard. (Pleasant Valley
Shopping Center at Intersection).
• At Pleasant Valley intersection, proceed straight onto FRANKSTOWN ROAD.
• Proceed over the top of the mountain.
• At base of other side, there is an intersection for Scotch Valley.
• Make a left and proceed 4.5 miles to course.
