    Breault Selected to D3football.com All-South Region Second Team HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Senior wide receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) has been named to the D3football.com All-South Region Second Team. He is the second Juniata player to earn D3football.com All-Region honors and the first since Brendan Felus was named to the First Team in 2013.

    Breault Selected for National Bowl All-Star Game HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Senior wideout Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) will be participating this Sunday in the annual National Bowl, which showcases All-American and All-Conference seniors from around the nation. The game will be held at Daytona Beach Stadium in Daytona Beach, Fla. at 9:30 a.m.

    Reighard Named CoSIDA Academic All-American AUSTIN, Texas- The College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) announced its Academic All-America Division III Football Team on Tuesday. Juniata sophomore defensive back Joel Reighard (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area HS) was selected to the Second Team and was one of 49 players from all of Division III to be named. He is the first Eagle since both Matt Carver and Patrick Brown were named to the First Team in 2004 and the seventh overall in team history.

    Breault Named to Centennial Conference First Team; Three Other Eagles Earn Honors HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Centennial Conference on Tuesday released its All-Conference Team in football. Senior wide receiver Kirby Breault (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) was the lone Juniata player named to the First Team. He is the first Eagle receiver to be selected to the First Team since Lance Tippett in 2007.

    Goalpost Game Goes to Susquehanna, 63-34 SELINSGROVE, Pa.- It was a two-touchdown game in the fourth quarter but host Susquehanna scored three straight times to pull away as the River Hawks upended Juniata 63-34 on Saturday afternoon in the annual Goalpost Game. The Goalpost trophy stays in Selinsgrove for a second straight season.

    Moravian Downs Juniata on Senior Day HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Visiting Moravian put up 667 yards of total offense with quarterback Mike Hayes passing for 516 yards as the Greyhounds took down Juniata 42-20 on Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium. The loss drops the Eagles to 4-5 overall and 3-5 in the Centennial. Moravian ends its three-game winless streak and improves to 5-4 overall and 4-4 in the conference.

    Reighard Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced their 2016 Academic All-District™ Football Teams on Thursday which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Sophomore defensive back Joel Reighard (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area HS) was one of four defensive backs in Division III in Pennsylvania to be named to the First Team.

    McDaniel Holds off Juniata 20-13 HUNTINGDON, Pa. McDaniel’s Bamasa Bailor caught a 10-yard touchdown pass with 4:16 remaining in the fourth quarter as the visiting Green Terror defeated Juniata 20-13 on Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium. The loss evens Juniata’s record at 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the Centennial while McDaniel improves to 3-5 and 3-4 in the CC.

The loss drops the Eagles to 4-3 overall and and 3-3 in the Centennial Conference while Muhlenberg improves to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the Centennial.

The Diplomats, however, had other plans as it defeated the Eagles 45-22 on Saturday afternoon at a packed Knox Stadium.     Vidovic’s Three TDs Powers Juniata Past Gettysburg 41-35 GETTYSBURG, Pa.- Sophomore running back David Vidovic (Hohenfels, Germany/Hohenfels) ran for a career-high 172 yards and three touchdowns as Juniata football held off Gettysburg 41-35 on Saturday afternoon at Shirk Field. It the Eagles’ first win on the Bullets’ home field since 1979. JC improves to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial Conference for the first time since 2013. Gettysburg falls to 1-2 and 1-1 in the Centennial.
