Lucas, Cordier Selected to Women’s Tennis Landmark All-Conference Team

TOWSON, Md.- Two members of the Juniata women's tennis team were named to the Landmark All-Conference team it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. Lauren Lucas (Holidaysburg, Pa./Altoona Area HS) was selected to the First Team while Vienna Cordier (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) was tabbed for the Second Team.

 

Lucas, who was the 2016 Player and Rookie of the Year, had another standout year for Juniata. She won four of her six Landmark matches playing at the No. 1 spot and was 5-4 overall.

 

Cordier followed a successful freshman season with a solid sophomore year. She moved up to third singles where she posted a 6-1 record there. Cordier led JC with a 5-2 record in Landmark play and was 8-2 overall, which was a team best mark.
