HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Landmark Conference has named Juniata College softball senior Steph Frith (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) to second-team all-conference. The shortstop led the team with a .350 batting average and finished her final year with a .409 on-base percentage.
"I am so excited for Steph for this award," said first year head coach Sam Kszepka. "Steph absolutely stepped up for us when we needed a shortstop. She settled in as a quiet leader in the position and made an impact on the team. She was consistent with the bat as well as a threat on the bases."
Named the team MVP, Frith started all 29 of the Eagles games this season. She recorded a team-best 28 hits and seven stolen bases. She also ranked among the assists leaders in the conference.
