Juniata Baseball to Hold Clinics

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata College Baseball Team will be conducting pitching, hitting, and fielding clinics for youth baseball players ages 6-15 this winter. The clinics are designed to teach all levels of skill and will be staffed by coaches and current players.

The clinics will be held on January 31, February 7, and February 14. There will be pitching, hitting, and fielding sessions on both January 31 and February 14 with just a pitching and hitting session on February 7. The pitching session will teach proper mechanics, arm care, and other skills. The hitting clinics will be comprised of different drills that will teach the mechanics of our hitting philosophy. For the fielding session, coaches and players will provide instruction on the fundamentals of playing multiple positions. Participants will have the option to learn the fundamentals and skills in two of the three categories during the session: infield, outfield, or catching.

The registration fee for each session is $25. Those planning on attending are advised to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session to check in.
