The River Hawks scored three runs on a double in the top of the second.
In the bottom half of the inning Austin Suders (Marion, Pa./Chambersburg Area) led off with a single through the left side and Cameron Livingston (Blairsville, Pa./Blairsville) was hit by a pitch. Josh Keszczyk (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) walked to load the bases. Hunter Price (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) drove in one run and Devyn Carper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) singled to center to drive in another to pull the Eagles within one.
Susquehanna scored twice more in the fifth before Livingston scored from third on a wild pitch in the sixth which made it 5-3. That was as close as the Eagles would get as Susquehanna struck for two runs in seventh, eighth and ninth innings to make it 11-3.
Juniata returns action tomorrow at Gettysburg. First pitch is at 3:30.
