HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Central Pennsylvania native Ethan Wilt (Altoona,Pa./Altoona Area) is heading into his final season with Juniata College football. The starting linebacker was named one of the four team captains for 2014 after helping the team to the program's highest win total since 1990, and the most conference wins since 1999. Wilt was named All-Centennial Conference and earned a place on the Centennial Academic Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average over 3.40 during last season.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – With each of their respective athletic careers at Juniata College officially over, the Eagle senior student-athletes had their sights on one more milestone, graduation. There were 75 student-athletes who participated in the 136th Annual Commencement on Saturday, May 17 to receive their degrees.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College football team has announced its youth and big men camps, college prospect clinic, and 7-on-7 passing tournament. All four will take place in the month of June. The Youth Camp, which runs June 16-18, is the only multi-day camp. While the College Prospect Clinic, Big Man Camp, and 7-on-7 Passing Tournament are all single day programs.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Three Juniata College football student-athletes recently earned membership to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. The organization recognizes football student-athletes from every division who have maintained a 3.2 cumulative GPA while being a starter in their last year of eligibility.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Senior Brandon Felus (Columbia, Pa./Columbia) turned enough heads at the Baltimore regional combine to earn an invite to the National Football League (NFL) Super Regional Combine at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. The event runs Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, 2014 and according the NFL, “allows participants the opportunity to work out and showcase their talents in front of NFL club scouts and player personnel staff.”

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College football placed four on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. Senior Jared Shope (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area), juniors Ward Udinski (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) and Ethan Wilt (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area), along with sophomore Michael John (Osceola Mills, Pa./ Phillipsburg-Osceola), made the cut by maintaining a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.40 or higher while participating in at least 50 percent of the Eagles games. The foursome did better than the 3.40 minimum, averaging a 3.64 GPA between them.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College football senior Brandon Felus (Columbia, Pa./Columbia) closed out the year and his career with another accolade. The 6-3, 265 pound defensive tackle was recently named to D3football.com’s Honorable Mention All-America Team. This is his second All-America honor this year. Felus was also voted Second-Team All-America by Beyond SportsNetwork.com earlier this month.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – This year marked the 40th anniversary of the 1973 Juniata football team playing for the first ever NCAA Division III National Championship and the 2013 Eagles used this year to make their own historic run. After going 0-10 three years ago, Juniata finished at 7-4 overall, 6-3 in the Centennial Conference, posting the programs highest win total since 1990, and the most conference wins since 1999.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College football senior Brandon Felus (Columbia, Pa./Columbia) added two more honors to his resume Wednesday night after the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) named him ECAC Division III South Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-star. The defensive tackle was the only Centennial Conference student-athlete to earn player of the year honors in the south and one of four first-team all-stars on defense.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The accolades continue to pour in for Juniata College football’s Brandon Felus (Columbia, Pa./Columbia). The senior captain was named a Second-Team All-American by BeyondSportsNetwork.com on Thursday. It marks his third postseason nod this year and the first time since 2001 an Eagle has earned All-America honors. The last All-Americans were Josh Seiders and Paul Evans, both also coached by Tim Launtz, the current Eagle head coach.
