READING, Pa. – A nine game winning streak came to a screeching halt Monday evening when the Juniata College field hockey team traveled to Reading, Pa., to take on Alvernia University in non-conference action. The Crusaders scored an early second half goal and that was more than enough for Alvernia’s defense as they beat the Eagles, 1-0.
