Led by reigning Landmark Conference defensive player of the week Shelby Miller, the Eagle defense snapped the University of Scranton's eight-game win streak earning the first conference win of the season last week. The Eagles will need to keep the defensive pressure up on an Elizabethtown team that has been outshooting opponents this season and averaging three goals per game. The Blue Jays currently average over 13 shots per game and have scored 24 goals this year.
Sophomore Jacki Hikes has been a consistent scorer for Elizabethtown. She leads the team in shots, shots on goal, points, goals, and assists and has started all eight games in 2013. This will be the 20th meeting between the two programs since they began competing in 1993. Elizabethtown leads the all-time series 11-8.
