Katie Alexander Named to NFHCA All-Region Team

CHANDLER, Ariz.- Senior Katie Alexander (Mifflinburg, Pa. / Mifflinburg) was named to the NFHCA All-Region second team.

The Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-Region squads were announced on Wednesday with 196 student-athletes receiving either first or second-team recognition across the six regions. 

Alexander played and started in 19 games for the Eagles this past season and tallied 15 goals and six assists in 2017. Alexander took 62 shots with 43 of them being on goal and scored six game winning goals. She scored a career high of four goals against Drew on October 7th. This season, Alexander was also named Landmark Offensive player of the week, was named to the Landmark All Conference first team as a forward and also is a Landmark academic honor roll member. 

For her career, Alexander has totaled 28 goals and 15 assists.
