Eagles Drop 2-0 Decision against #2 Messiah
HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team fell to No. 2 Messiah with a final score of 2-0, Wednesday evening.

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team fell to No. 2 Messiah with a final score of 2-0, Wednesday evening.
The Eagles defense fought hard limiting the Falcons to two goals. Kylie Edwards (Danville, Pa. / Danville) totaled six saves for Juniata.
The teams went scoreless in the first half. Five minutes into the second half Messiah scored their first goal of the game after a previous shot and a save by Edwards. With no time left on the clock, Messiah was awarded a penalty corner and scored the final goal of the game.
Messiah out shot Juniata 10-0 and held an edge on the Eagles in corners 11-2.
Juniata will travel to Spooky Nook in Manheim, Pa. on Saturday to face No. 11 University of Rochester at 2:00PM.
