SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team left their home turf to compete at Scranton on Saturday afternoon, where they struggled against the Royals and lost 4-0.
Nicole Piccioni (Richfield, Pa. / Midd-West) had seven saves on the day in the cage. Sarah Bryer (Burke, Va. / Robinson), Sierra Rossman (New Market, MD / Linganore High School), and Miranda Madara (Bernville, Pa. / Hamburg Area HS) each had a shot on goal but were unsuccessful to push it through to get JC on the board.
The field hockey team is away again on Tuesday, October 5th, at 7:00 pm at Misericordia in nonconference action.
