HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team played Lebanon Valley on Wednesday night, where they suffered a 1-0 defeat.
The Eagles were aggressive in the second quarter as they racked up five shots, two belonging to Sarah Bryer (Burke, Va. / Robinson).
Nicole Piccioni (Richfield, Pa. / Midd-West) had seven saves on the night against the Dutchmen, with the only goal squeaking by her in the third quarter.
The Eagles return to the field this Saturday to compete at Elizabethtown at 1:00 pm.
