WASHINGTON, D.C.- The 2021 Juniata field hockey team wrapped up their season at the University of Catholic Saturday afternoon, where they ended with a final of 6-1 in favor of the Cardinals.
Nicole Piccioni (Richfield, Pa. / Midd-West) ended the game with 10 saves pushing her total career saves 199 as an Eagle. The lone goal belonged to freshman Lillian Case (Reading, Pa / Wilson High School).
The Cardinals scored the first goal of the game in the first quarter before adding four more in the second. Case struck in the third prior to Catholic scoring their final goal in the fourth.
The Eagles ended their season 3-15 and 2-5 in the Landmark.
