HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team lost to the visiting University of Scranton, 4-0, Saturday afternoon at Knox Stadium.
Amanda Puza made 12 saves in goal for the Eagles.
The teams were scoreless through the first period, with the Royals taking four shots and Puza saving three of them.
Scranton broke through twice in the second quarter, scoring two goals three minutes apart, and they led by two at the halftime break.
They scored 54 seconds into the third and added another in the fourth to complete the scoring.
The Eagles return home to host Susquehanna on Tuesday at 7:00.
