Field Hockey's Morgan Martin Named to CSC Student Program
Huntingdon, Pa. — Juniata College field hockey senior Morgan Martin has been named to the 2025 Division III College Sports Communicators (CSC) Student Program.
Established in 2017, the CSC Student Program was developed by the Division III governance staff in partnership with College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA). Held annually in conjunction with the CSC Convention—typically each June—the program provides selected students with full funding to attend the convention and participate in Division III-specific programming.
Participants engage in sessions exploring potential careers in sports information and athletics communication. The program aims to help students chart their career paths, build networks, and learn directly from current professionals in the field. A key goal of the initiative is to create a pipeline of talented female and ethnic minority candidates interested in Division III athletics communication, ultimately diversifying the division.
Martin shared her excitement about the opportunity:
"I'm honored to represent Juniata at this incredible conference and excited for the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. This experience will allow me to gain valuable skills, build lasting relationships, network with colleagues across collegiate athletics, and take meaningful steps in advancing my career in sports."
Martin has been a key contributor to the Juniata Athletic Communications office, serving as the Juniata Assistant (JA) for the 2024–25 academic year. In this role, she supported the office in various tasks, including creating graphics, programs, and scripts, while also serving as a liaison between the office and other student employees.
