HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team lost to the visiting Gettysburg Bullets, 7-0, on Wednesday evening at Knox Stadium.
Kara Stringfellow made 13 saves in goal for the Eagles, and Jane Corbin made three defensive saves.
Gettysburg scored twice in the first quarter and once in the second quarter as Juniata trailed 3-0 at the break.
The Bullets tacked on a further four goals in the second half, including three in the third.
Juniata returns to action on the road at Dickinson, Saturday at 1:00.
