Men’s Basketball Hosts St. Vincent On Community Day
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The 3-1 Juniata College men’s basketball team host St. Vincent College, Saturday Nov. 30th at 2 p.m. in the first half of a double header with the women’s team. The Eagles are retuning home after the holiday break to face the 4-1 Bearcats in Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center on a Community Day. All admission will be free.

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The 3-1 Juniata College men's basketball team host St. Vincent College, Saturday Nov. 30th at 2 p.m. in the first half of a double header with the women's team. The Eagles are retuning home after the holiday break to face the 4-1 Bearcats in Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center on a Community Day. All admission will be free.
Under the direction of head coach Greg Curley Juniata is 2-2 against St. Vincent. The Bearcats hold a 21-3 all-time series lead, with the two teams having first met in the 1933-34 season, but the Eagles have taken the last two matchups over the last two seasons.
The Eagles are coming off two dramatic victories – a come from behind last minute win at home against Pitt.-Bradford and a thrilling two point win over Dickinson College. Juniata is averaging 69.8 points per game and an impressive 36 rebounds per game.
St. Vincent is on a four game winning streak after dropping its first match of the season. The Bearcats recently took a turn in California at the Hilton Slugs Tournament in Santa Cruz, Calif. St. Vincent came away with wins over UC Santa Cruz and California Institute of Technology.
Last season, Juniata came away with the 74-70 win over the Bearcats in Pittsburg. St. Vincent last traveled to Huntingdon during 2011-12 season where the Eagles won 69-55.
