Martinazzi Named Landmark Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md.- Juniata men's basketball standout Brandon Martinazzi (Cresson, Pa. / Bishop Carroll) was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week.

On Monday, December 3rd, the Eagles fell, 76-65 to Shenandoah. During the game, Martinazzi tallied 18 points, three assists, and three steals. On Friday, the Eagles opened up the 27th annual Doc Greene Tournament sponsored by the Comfort Inn with a win against Wilson. 40 seconds into the contest, Martinazzi nailed a three from the right wing to notch the 1000 point of his career. Martinazzi totaled 20 points and added two assists. On Saturday, Martinazzi assisted the Eagles to another victory in the Doc Greene Tournament championship game. Juniata defeated Lebanon Valley, 90-71. Martinazzi totaled 18 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Martinazzi was named the Doc Greene Tournament MVP. 

The Eagles return to action Thursday the 20th against Randolph in the Juniata College Holiday Tournament. Tipoff is at 7:00.
