Men's Hoops Earn ECAC Tournament Bid, Host Waynesburg on Wednesday

DANBURY, Conn.- The Juniata College men's basketball team earned a spot in the 2022 ECAC Division III Men's Basketball Championship, snagging the seventh seed.

The Eagles will host #10 Waynesburg University (14-13) of the President's Athletic Conference on Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Memorial Gymnasium. The winner will then travel to #2 Rutgers-Newark to take on the weekend hosts, Friday at 7:30 PM.

Juniata will serve as the Landmark Conference's sole representative in the ECAC Tournament this year.

The other three pods are as follows:

No. 1 Alvernia University receives a bye to Friday's action while No. 8 Gwynedd Mercy will host No. 9 William Paterson University on Wednesday.
No. 4  Penn State – Altoona will match up with No. 5 United States Merchant Marine Academy on Friday.
No. 3 PSU - Behrend takes on No. 6 Manhattanville College on Friday.

The winners will all then meet up at Rutgers-Newark on Friday to complete the remainder of the tournament.
