MADISON, N.J.- The Juniata men's basketball team couldn't recover from a hot first half of shooting by their hosts as they lost at Drew University, 91-68, Saturday afternoon.
Mason Hardy led the Eagles with 15 points, including three three-pointers, four assists, and two rebounds. Ty Kocak tallied 12 points, five rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Jaiden Aze added eight points and nine rebounds off the bench. William Littles Jr. contributed seven points, three rebounds, and an assist.
The Rangers shot 50.05% from the floor, and in the final five minutes of the first half, they got red hot. Juniata was trailing by 12, 32-20 before the Rangers ran rampant over the final five minutes of the half on a 20-4 run.
The Eagles outscored the Rangers in the second half, 44-41.
Juniata returns to action on Wednesday at Susquehanna.
