Nick Hager

Bio

Nick Hager was named an assistant men’s basketball coach at Juniata College in 2010 and returned to the Eagles’ staff in 2021. Entering the 2025–26 season, Hager is in his fifth season back in Huntingdon and 11th season overall with the program.

• Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach – Juniata College

  • First stint: 2010–2015

  • Second stint: 2021–present

  • Oversees guard play

  • Conducts offensive and defensive breakdowns

  • Designs and leads individual skill workouts

  • Part of back-to-back ECAC Championships (2013, 2014)

  • Member of the 2011–12 Landmark Coaching Staff of the Year

• Head Men’s Basketball Coach – Bethany College (2015–2021)

  • Responsible for all aspects of the program

  • Coached 10 Presidents’ Athletic Conference All-Conference selections

  • Led team to the PAC Championship (2018)

  • Two ECAC Tournament appearances

  • Also served as Head Men’s Tennis Coach and Head Men’s Golf Coach during first two seasons

• NCAA Compliance Graduate Assistant – Auburn University

  • Worked with all 21 varsity sports

  • Tracked recruiting calls and monitored practice and competition logs

  • Earned M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and Sports Management

• Six Landmark All-Conference selections during first Juniata stint

• Two CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District selections coached

• One ECAC nominee coached at Bethany

• Juniata College men’s basketball alum
