Men's Golf Slashes Their Way to Fourth at Susquehanna
Hummels Wharf, Pa.- The Eagles took on Susquehanna Valley Country Club at the Susquehanna Spring Invite. The course played to 6,261 yards, treelined the whole way, as the B team for the Eagles shot 332.
Elliot Lingle led scoring for the Eagles, shooting 80 on a challenging track. Lingle found a birdie on the 14th to finish in a tie for 12th. Ethan Brown secured a T12 finish, also shooting 80. Brown shot 38 on the second nine, finding a quick birdie on the 10th. Jaron Yoder had as many birdies as anyone in the field with two. Yoder shot 85 enroute to a T25 finish. Colin Wible battled tight fairways throughout the day, shooting 87. Wible secured a birdie on the 17th to finish in 28th place in the field. Nicholas McCann started out shooting a 44 on the front nine. McCann finished in a tie for 59th place in the field after draining long putts. Larry Singer played as an individual sniffing out some solid pars. Singer would finish in a tie for 59th place after 18 holes of play. Shawn Gamble poured in four putts from over 20 feet. Gamble pieced together a T62 finish in the tournament.
The Eagles A Team heads to Gettysburg to play Penn National Golf Course on Friday and Saturday.
