Eagles Knock Down Putts at Bulle Rock
Havre De Grace, Md.- Alvernia hosted another event this week down at Bulle Rock in Maryland. The course played to 6687 yards as a par 72. The Eagles finished in a tie for 8th place today, shooting 322 on a windy day on the water.
Ryan Hilyard led the way today, shooting a six-over 78. Hilyard snagged a solo birdie on the 15th hole of the day to secure a top 20 finish on day one. Griffin Snowberger grabbed a T32 finish for day one after shooting 81. Windy conditions proved to be challenging at Bulle Rock for Snowberger. Ben Pintof grabbed an 81 today as well, tying Snowberger. Pintof snagged a pair of birdies to lead the team today enroute to a T32 start. Harrison Levithan was rolling the rock today, finishing the day at 10 over at an 82. Levithan found an early birdie on the fourth to push him to a T39 finish. Ethan Brown rounded out the Eagles today with an 87 in the wind. Brown rebounded nicely with two pars on the last three holes to secure a T57 finish on day one.
The Eagles continue play tomorrow at Bulle Rock at the Battle at Bulle Rock.
