Snowberger Leads Eagles at Bulle Rock
Havre De Grace, Md.- Men's golf competed in day two at the Battle at Bulle Rock hosted by Alvernia. The A team took the stage for the Eagles, finishing day two shooting 321. That leaves the Eagles in a T9 finish to the Battle at Bulle Rock in a talented field.
Griffin Snowberger led the way for the Eagles today, shooting 77 in a solid round. Snowberger finished off the tournament strong, making a birdie on three of his final five holes to finish in T26 position overall. Ryan Hilyard continues to find his bearings as an Eagle, shooting 83. Hilyard finished second-best on the team in T38 position after his first overnight tournament. Ben Pintof entered the battle on day two and drained putt after putt to make the most birdies on the team with four. Pintof executed shooting 80 in windy conditions to tie Hilyard in T38 position. Ethan Brown found a six-shot improvement on the course today to shoot 81. Brown battled quite well and finished in T52 position. Harrison Levithan continued play at the Battle of Bulle Rock. Levithan made par on four of his last five holes to secure a T52 finish to the tournament with Brown.
The Eagles will play soon in the Spartan Shootout hosted by York College at the Royal Manchester Golf Links in Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, on October 19th and 20th.
