Eagles Finish Up The Fall at Shawnee
Delaware, Pa.- The Men's golf team tackled their last tournament of the fall season at the Landmark Conference Preview hosted at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. The course played tough today, with the Eagles shooting 319 for a combined 629 two-day score to finish the preview in 7th place.
Griffin Snowberger shined bright today at the Landmark Conference Preview in his second season, shooting 77. Snowberger tagged a birdie and an eagle to secure a top 20 finish as he builds on a strong first season in the blue and gold. Ben Pintof was consistent, posting his second sub-80 round of the tournament, shooting 79. Pintof has been a consistent performer for the Eagles throughout his career, netting a T21 finish complete with two birdies. Ryan Hilyard battled hard on the back nine, finishing his last five holes seven over to shoot 84. Hilyard had a strong debut overall at Landmarks, placing T26 after a top ten finish on day one. Kole Washleski found a two-shot improvement today to shoot 79. Washleski bagged an early birdie on the fourth hole to finish in T30 position for the tournament. Harrison Levithan faced early challenges on the front nine, but battled hard on the back nine, shooting three over par to finish at 87.
The Eagles wrap up the fall and will look to work hard over the winter to see improvement in the spring.
