"B" Team Bags Third Place at Susquehanna
Selinsgrove, Pa.- The men's golf team traveled to Selinsgrove to compete in the Susquehanna Spring Invitational at Susquehanna Valley Golf Club. The Eagles finished in third place at the event with a 316 as the B team.
Harrison Levithan led the Eagles with a 78 in tough conditions on slow greens at Susquehanna. Levithan finished T6 in the field with nobody in the field breaking 74 on the par-70 course. Ian Nagel followed Levithan with a T6 finish, shooting 78 as well. Nagel finished one over on the front nine, securing a total of three birdies on the day. Ethan Brown was the next scoring member for the Eagles, shooting 79 to finish in solo 11th. Brown pitched it to a few feet on the third hole before tapping for his first of two birdies in Selinsgrove. Larry Singer finished in 19th place overall in the tournament as he shot 81. Singer secured a birdie on the ninth hole to finish a hard front. Jaron Yoder had a stellar front nine, securing three birdies on the 4th, 6th, and 9th holes. Yoder would finish the day in 32nd with an 85. Elliot Lingle competed as an individual for the Eagles coming into the clubhouse with an 83 on his scorecard.
The Eagles will compete next at Black Rock in Hagerstown, Md. They tee off at 10:00 AM with their B and C teams for the Cardinal Classic.
