Eagles Lead at Moselem Springs by 13 Shots
Fleetwood, Pa.- The Eagles traveled out to Moselem Springs Golf Club to compete in the Moselem Springs Invite hosted by Premier College Tournaments. After 18 holes, the Eagles hold a commanding 13-shot lead over the 7-team field. Shooting 307, the Eagles fall under their season average with their golfers taking up three of the top four golfers in the field.
Ben Pintof leads the entire field in solo first place after shooting 73. Pintof holds a three-shot lead over the field, finishing the back nine one under par with a 34. Pintof and company will tee off at 12:00 PM in a shotgun format, playing with house money. Griffin Snowberger sits three shots behind Pintof in a tie for second place after shooting 76. Snowberger secured a one-over front nine, complete with a birdie to bag the second-best round of the day. Ethan Brown finished his round as the clubhouse leader before finishing day one in the T2 position along with Snowberger. Brown rattled off par after par, outpacing the field significantly. He will look to continue during day two. Ryan Hilyard was the next finisher for the Eagles, sitting in the T16 position through the first day. Hilyard shot 82 with nearly even splits on the front and back nine. Harrison Levithan battled the cold, wind, and rain, shooting 84. Levithan still remains in the top half of the field in T26 position after a solid birdie on the 17th.
The Eagles continue their last round before conference play, April 20th at 12:00 PM, in a shotgun format.
