Eagles Win at Moselem Springs as Pintof Claims Solo Victory
Fleetwood, Pa. The Eagles traveled out to Moselem Springs Golf Club to compete in the Moselem Springs Invite hosted by Premier College Tournaments. After 18 holes, the Eagles held a commanding 13-shot lead over the 7-team field. The Eagles followed up in the sleet with a 310, which allowed them to extend their lead to 18, going on to win the tournament in dominant fashion.
Ben Pintof led the entire field in solo first place after shooting 73 on day one. Pintof took the lead and continued to run with it, going on to win the event by six shots over the next closest participant. Pintof shot 74 in the rain and sleet with a pair of birdies to win the event, which is Pintof's first career solo win. Griffin Snowberger finished day one with a 76 and would shoot well on day two as well. Snowberger buried the field with a T3 finish, shooting 79, snagging a birdie on the eighth. Ethan Brown continued to play well for the Eagles, shooting 80. Brown finished in 6th place for the tournament after another dominant showing in the blue and gold. Ryan Hilyard improved in worse playing conditions, shooting 77 to shoot him up the leaderboard to 11th place overall. Hilyard grabbed a pair of birdies on day two and will look to carry his newfound momentum to Landmarks. Harrison Levithan was able to shave a shot off his score, shooting 83 in brutal winds and sleet all day. Levithan finishes the event in T23 position.
The Eagles will now gear up to play in the Landmark Conference Championships on April 25th and 26th at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
