BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team lost at Moravian University, 20-6, Saturday afternoon at John Makuvek Field on Greyhound Senior Day.
Reuben Stoll (Bethesda, Md. / Walt Whitman) led the way with three goals, a ground ball and a caused turnover while Vincent Bechler (East Brunswick, NJ / East Brunswick) tallied four assists and four ground balls. Liam Walsh (Baltimore, Md. / Gillman HS), Sterling Bechler (East Brunswick, NJ / Rutgers Preparatory School) and Jackson Eastep (Milltown, NJ / East Brunswick HS) each scored once. S. Bechler and Harrison each had three ground balls. Ryan Madison (Wilmington, Del. / Conrad School of Science) made seven saves in goal while Griffin Umstead (Garnet Valley, Pa. / Garnet Valley HS) made nine.
Moravian scored the game's first eight goals and led 8-0 after one.
Stoll scored off a V. Bechler assist while a man up 20 seconds into the second quarter, but the Greyhounds responded with 10 straight goals to close the half as the host's led 18-1 at the half.
Stoll and Walsh scored the only goals of the third, and Juniata outscored the Greyhounds 3-2 in the fourth as Eastep, Stoll and S. Bechler found the back of the Moravian net.
Juniata will host Susquehanna, Wednesday at 5:00.
