Dylan Abplanalp was named the head men’s lacrosse coach at Juniata College in 2024.

Abplanalp brings experience as a collegiate assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, along with a decorated playing career, to the Juniata men’s lacrosse program.

• Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach – Juniata College (2024–present)

  • Oversees all aspects of the program, including recruiting, player development, and game preparation

• Assistant Coach / Recruiting Coordinator – Illinois Wesleyan University

  • Helped lead the Titans to a 60–17 overall record

  • Three College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships

  • Three NCAA Tournament appearances, including an Elite Eight run in 2021

  • Served as defensive coordinator and goalie coach

  • Recruited and developed 60+ student-athletes

  • Created scouting reports and implemented defensive schemes

  • Assisted with practice planning and on-field instruction

  • Led weekly academic meetings focused on student-athlete success

• Four-year member of the men’s lacrosse program at Susquehanna University

• Started all 71 career games

• Two-time team captain

• USILA Honorable Mention All-American (2019)

• All-South Region Third Team (2018, 2019)

• Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year (2016)
