MADISON, N.J.- The Juniata men's soccer team fell, 4-1 to Drew University at Ranger Stadium, Saturday afternoon.
A minute into the match, the Rangers striked first after a throw-in from the right side. Drew held 13-3 edge in shots to close out the first half with a 1-0 lead over the Eagles.
In the 58th minute, Drew extended their lead to 2-0. Ten minutes later, the Rangers went up, 3-0 with a cross from the right on a breakaway. In the 72nd minute, Bass Diakhoumpa (Dakar, Senegal / Mercersburg Academy) headed the ball into the goal after a free kick from the right side by Mark Wolf (Lebanon, Pa. / Cedar Crest). With four minutes left in the game, Drew scored once more to win, 4-1 over Juniata.
The Eagles will host Scranton next Saturday at 1PM for senior day.
