Cole, Medley Relay Set School Records at Cougar Splash Opener
Dallas, Pa. – On the men's side, Juniata finished the opening session in sixth place with 19 points, fueled by two school records and multiple top-10 efforts.
Wyatt Cole set the tone with a new school record in the 200-yard individual medley, placing 10th overall with a time of 2:07.91. In the 500-yard freestyle, Marshall Radonovich led the way for the Eagles by placing ninth in 5:02.62. Juniata also saw solid performances in the 50 free from Ben Schultz, Max Baronner, and Isaac March.
The highlight of the night came in the 200-yard medley relay, where the Juniata A team set a new school record with a time of 1:41.66, earning eighth place overall. The B relay also added points with a 12th-place finish. With record-setting swims and consistent depth, the Eagles head into Saturday's events looking to build on a strong opening session.
The Eagles will compete in Day two of the meet tomorrow morning.
