Juniata Men Turn in Steady Sunday Performances at Cougar Splash
Dallas, PA - The Juniata men delivered a balanced Sunday evening session highlighted by competitive swims across multiple events and solid depth from both individual and relay performances.
In the 200 butterfly, Cody Hartle led the Eagles with a 10th-place finish after touching in at 2:10.37, while Christian Rota added a 2:23.75 swim later in the event.
The backstroke group produced consistent results, with Logan Stewart finishing 10th overall in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.47. Matt Tiernan followed with a 1:06.52 swim, contributing to Juniata's depth in the event.
The Eagles also added three competitors in the 100 breaststroke, led by Max Baronner, who finished 11th with a 1:03.72. Ben Schultz posted a 1:07.37, while Isaac March recorded a 1:14.35 performance.
In the 800 freestyle relay, Juniata's A squad of Wyatt Cole, Cody Hartle, Marshall Radonovich, and Yui Inagi finished seventh with a time of 7:42.11. The B relay of Jim Oster, Kevin Bowser, Will Dovey, and Christian Rota followed in 11th at 8:20.80.
The Eagles closed Sunday's session with steady contributions in both sprint and distance events as they head into Thanksgiving Break.
