Cole, Hartle Pace Juniata Men’s Saturday at Landmark Championships
Baltimore, Md. – Juniata men's swimming turned in multiple scoring swims and a relay effort on Saturday night as the Eagles sat seventh (114 points) through 28 events at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships at Loyola University Maryland.
Juniata's top individual finish of the session came in the 200-yard freestyle, where Wyatt Cole placed 10th in the B final with a 1:49.88 after qualifying for the evening swim with a 1:51.76. In the same event, Yui Inagi added a 15th-place finish (1:52.04) after a 1:52.88 in prelims.
In the 400-yard individual medley, Cody Hartle recorded a 16th-place finish in the B final, touching in 4:38.95 after a 4:39.92 in prelims. Juniata also had Will Dovey compete in preliminaries.
The Eagles added another scoring swim in the 100-yard butterfly, with Matthew Rota taking 15th (55.35) after posting 55.05 in prelims.
Juniata closed the night with a seventh-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The team of Ben Schultz, Max Baronner, Yui Inagi, and Wyatt Cole posted a 1:31.40 to secure points in the final event of the session.
