Landmark Champions! Juniata Men’s Tennis Defeats Goucher to Take Crown

HUNTINGDON, PA- On a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon at Raffensberger Court, Juniata and Goucher faced off in the men’s tennis Landmark Conference Championship. Despite being down 2-1 after doubles play, the Eagles took four out of five in singles to come away with a 5-3 win and claim the title. It is the first Landmark championship since Juniata joined the conference in the 2007-08 season and its first conference crown overall.

Eagles Advance to Landmark Championship with 5-0 Win over Merchant Marine

HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata men’s tennis team hosted Merchant Marine Academy in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference Tournament on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles only needed to win five matches to knock off the Mariners and advance to the championships for the second year in a row.

Men’s Tennis Closes Out Regular Season With A Win

HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata men’s tennis team hosted Mount Aloysius on Saturday morning in their final regular season match of the year. The Eagles easily dispatched the Mounties by the score of 9-0.

HUNTINGDON, PA- Playing in their penultimate match of the season, the Juniata men’s tennis team defeated Stevenson 7-2 on Friday afternoon. The Eagles, winners of 12 straight, improve to 13-4 overall and 6-0 at Raffensberger Court.

SELINSGROVE, PA- For the second straight year, the Juniata men’s tennis team has gone undefeated in Landmark Conference play. The Eagles knocked off Susquehanna 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon to improve to 12-4 overall and 8-0 in the conference.

TOWSON, MD- On Monday, the Landmark Conference announced its weekly awards. Sophomore Dean Polisena (Adelaide, Australia/Saint Ignatius) was named the Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week. It is his first honor of the season.

HUNTINGDON, PA- The men’s tennis team improved its record to 10-4 overall with an 8-1 victory over Penn State-Altoona on Tuesday afternoon at Raffensberger Court. The win was also the team’s ninth straight victory.

BETHLEHEM, PA- For the third consecutive season, the Juniata men’s tennis team has qualified for the Landmark Conference Tournament. The Eagles clinched their playoff spot with a 7-2 victory over Moravian on Sunday afternoon.

KINGS POINT, NY- The men’s tennis team improved to a perfect 5-0 in Landmark Conference play with a 7-2 victory over Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles have won seven straight matches since returning from their spring trip and are now 8-4 overall.

MADISON, NJ- The men’s tennis team put up another solid effort as it defeated Drew 8-1 on Saturday. It was the Eagles fifth straight win as they improve to 6-4 overall and 3-0 in the Landmark Conference.

Men’s Tennis Knocks Off PSU-Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, PA- The men’s tennis team played Penn-State Harrisburg in a non-conference match on Thursday afternoon. The Eagles took first and second doubles and 1-4 singles on their way to a 6-3 victory.
