HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata men's tennis team hosted Drew Saturday and was bested 9-0.
In doubles play, Ilia Buralkin (Moscow, Russia) and Utsav Dhir Deravariya (India / Sunway University) lost 8-4 in first doubles, William Michelson (Old Mystic, Conn. / Stonington) and Seth Strawser (Richfield, Pa. / East Juniata) lost 8-4 in second doubles and Nate Whelan (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. / Point Pleasant Beach) and Victor J. B Jung (Normandy, France) lost 8-0 in third doubles.
In singles play, Buralkin lost 6-3, 6-0 in first singles while Michelson lost 6-0, 6-0 in second singles. In third singles, Robert Singer (Olney, Md. / Sherwood) 6-0, 6-0 as Strawser lost 6-2, 6-2 in fourth singles. Whelan lost 6-0, 6-0 in fifth singles and Dhir Deravariya lost 6-0, 6-0 in sixth singles.
The Eagles host Penn State Altoona on Thursday, April 14 for a 5:00 pm start time.
