HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis team dropped their mid-week matchup to Susquehanna 4-5 on Wednesday afternoon.
In doubles play, Utsav Deravariya and Axel Chabbert fell 3-8 in third doubles, but Martin Munoz and Ross Conway beat their opponent 8-4 in first doubles. The duo of Dillon Murphy and Ezenna Emuka lost 6-8 in second doubles.
In singles play, Munoz claimed victory 6-4, 6-2 in first singles, and Conway beat his River Hawk opponent 6-2, 7-6 in second singles. Murphy dropped his matchup 4-6, 3-6 in third singles, and Emuka fell 0-6, 0-6 in fourth singles. Chabbert beat his opponent 6-1, 6-3, in sixth singles, but Deravariya fell 4-6, 2-6 in fifth singles.
The Eagles return to Raffensperger Courts this Saturday, April 22, to host Goucher at 1:00 pm for the final match of the regular season.
