SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The men's tennis team bested the River Hawks on Sunday 6-3 on an away trip to Susquehanna.

Starting in doubles, Arsen Tabaldyev and Arthur DeYoung won 8-1 in first doubles and Adrián Di Benedetto Vásquez and Basile Gandon beat their opponents 8-2 in second doubles. Ross Conway and Dillon Murphy dropped third doubles 2-8.

Tabaldyev carried his success into singles play, besting his match-up 6-1, 6-0 in first singles while Di Benedetto Vásquez also won 6-0, 6-2 in second singles. Gandon fell 4-6, 2-6 in third singles, but DeYoung added points in fourth singles, winning 6-3, 6-4. Conway won at fifth singles, 7-6, 6-2, 5-0, as Murphy lost 5-8 in sixth singles.

The Eagles host Bloomsburg this Thursday at 4:00 pm.
