Robb Claims Pole Vault Win as Juniata Men Post Solid Multi Performances

Huntingdon, Pa. – Juniata College men's track & field athletes posted multiple top finishes Saturday, highlighted by a victory in the pole vault and solid performances in the multi events.

Junior Gavin Robb claimed first place in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.00 meters (13-1 ½) to lead the Eagles. Junior Sean Buckley added a third-place finish with a clearance of 3.55 meters (11-7 ¾), while freshman Joey McGowan placed sixth at 3.10 meters (10-2), giving Juniata three top-six finishers in the event.

In the men's multi events, sophomore Hunter Robertson led the Eagles with an 11th-place finish and 2,132 points. Sophomore Jacob Alexander and freshman Kaelano Kelly followed close behind to complete Juniata's scoring efforts.

The Eagles will look to carry Saturday's performances into Sunday's portion of the invitational.
