Ndikwe and Seigel Shine at Jim Taylor Duals
Selinsgrove, Pa. – The Juniata College men's track and field team delivered a strong showing at the Jim Taylor Duals.
Djemba Ndikwe started out the spring season strong for the Eagles, finishing in second with a 22.23 in the 200M with a 3.5 wind rating. The 4x400M Relay also served the Eagles well, placing fifth overall in a packed field. The relay consisted of Shane Smith, Dalton Yohn, Jacob Alexander, and Parker Thomas, who posted a time of 3:34.36 in the wind and cold.
Ray Stonesifer showed off his jumping ability by passing on the first eligible high jump of 1.68 meters before clearing 1.73 meters (5' 8") on his first go, securing a third-place finish. Sean Buckley continued the field dominance with a pole vault of 3.85 meters (12' 7.5"), locking him into eighth place.
Spencer Siegel was dominant as well for the Eagles, starting out the spring with a second-place finish in the shot put with a put of 15.03 meters (49' 3.75"). He dominated the discus with a throw of 42.5 meters (139' 5'), firmly putting him in sixth place overall. He finished strong with an 18th-place finish in the hammer with a mark of 40.81 meters.
The Eagles compete next at the Messiah Multi and Invitational on April 9th.
