Juniata Finishes Second at Home Meet Tune-Up
Huntingdon, Pa. – The Juniata men's track and field team delivered a strong all-around performance at the Juniata Tune-Up hosted by Juniata College, finishing second as a team with 160 points.
On the track, Adam Gallo placed second in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:17.02. In the sprints, Isaiah Huffstutler led Juniata in the 100 meters with a fourth-place finish in 11.82, followed by Creig Bell Jr. in sixth at 12.18.
Juniata dominated the 1500 meters, sweeping four of the top five spots. Conrad Coffey won the event in 4:20.31, followed by McClain Reamer in second at 4:23.87. Clark Gaynor finished fourth in 4:26.74, and Andrew Quinn placed fifth in 4:29.08.
In the 400 meters, Djemba Ndikwe earned a first-place finish with a time of 50.42, while Josh Wilson added a sixth-place finish in 54.82. Parker Thomas added another strong performance on the track, placing third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.47.
The relay teams also impressed, as Juniata's A team of Huffstutler, Bell, Massare, and Robb won the 4x100 relay in 45.17, while the B team of Buckley, Kelly, Adejayan, and McGowan placed second in 48.11. In the 4x400 relay, Juniata's A team of Massare, Thomas, Fritzges, and Ndikwe claimed first in 3:37.40, while the B team of Wilson, Alexander, Robb, and Kelly finished third in 3:55.86.
In the field events, Juniata excelled in the high jump with Ray Stonesifer winning the event at 1.72 meters and Jake Alexander finishing second at 1.67 meters. In the triple jump, Waylon Ehrenzeller placed third with a mark of 11.54 meters, followed by Deric Fritzges in fourth at 11.25 meters.
Spencer Siegel led the throwing events for Juniata, placing second in the shot put with a mark of 15.07 meters and winning the hammer throw with a distance of 42.67 meters.
Juniata will host the 2026 Landmark Outdoor Championships next weekend.
