Eagles Men's Volleyball Heads to CVC Tournament
Huntingdon, PA – The Juniata men's volleyball team heads to Washington and Lee University for the semifinal and championship rounds of the 2025 CVC Tournament, scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
Ticket prices for the semifinals and championship are $6 per day or $10 for a tournament pass. Students with a valid CVC member school ID and children under the age of 5 are admitted free.
The CVC semifinals will feature #2 Juniata facing off against #3 Rutgers-Newark, while #1 Southern Virginia takes on #5 Marymount, who upset #4 Kean in the quarterfinals. The winners will meet in the championship match on Saturday, April 12.
Juniata previously defeated Rutgers-Newark in three sets on February 9.
The Eagles completed the 2025 regular season with an impressive 28-3 record, including a 6-1 mark in conference play. Their only CVC loss came against top-ranked Southern Virginia. Juniata earned a #5 ranking in the final AVCA regular-season poll, highlighted by victories over #3 Stevens and #12 Baldwin Wallace.
Led by graduate students Tyler Goldsborough and Luke Hoffman, the Eagles are hitting .333 as a team—ranking 5th in Division III—and lead the CVC in total blocks with 210. Juniata also ranks 4th nationally in assists per set (11.89) and 20th in blocks per set (2.059).
Juniata last claimed the CVC tournament title in 2023, defeating Rutgers-Newark in four sets.
