Armando, Goldsborough and Hoffman named to AVCA All-Region
LEXINGTON, KY – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the 2025 Division III Men's Volleyball All-Region teams and award winners on Monday afternoon.
Each of the four regional teams includes 14 players, along with a Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Coach of the Year for each region. The 56 student-athletes selected for All-Region honors represent 27 different schools.
Juniata College men's volleyball had three athletes named to the Region III team: Juan Armando, Tyler Goldsborough, and Luke Hoffman.
Senior outside hitter Juan Armando earned his first All-Region selection. He ranks ninth in the CVC in kills per set (2.85) and is a major contributor to Juniata's No. 7 national ranking in kills per set for the 2024–25 season. In a match against Marymount, Armando recorded his 1,000th career kill.
Graduate outside hitter Tyler Goldsborough received his third All-Region honor. He finished the regular season averaging 3.29 kills per set—fourth in the CVC—along with 0.52 service aces per set, ranking third in the conference. Goldsborough was named CVC Athlete of the Week once during the 2024–25 campaign.
Graduate middle blocker Luke Hoffman earned his third consecutive All-Region selection. He leads both the CVC and NCAA Division III in hitting percentage (.521), leads the CVC in blocks per set (1.21), and ranks eighth in the conference in aces per set (0.36). Hoffman was named CVC Athlete of the Week twice and was also recognized as a Juniata Athlete of the Month this season.
