Palombo Named The CVC Player of the Week

Huntingdon, Pa.- Dante Palombo earned his first career Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) the week of January 19th. 

Palumbo was simply dominant through two Juniata wins against Trine and St.Vincent. Palumbo racked up a total of 25 points for the third-ranked Eagles in two 3-0 sweeps. He led a high-powered offense, hitting 11 of 12 (.917) in a match against St.Vincent. Palumbo was nearly unstoppable, picking up 19 total kills, eight blocks, and only two attack errors on 21 attempts. Palumbo and the Eagles look ahead to next week, where they look forward to four matches, including 12th-ranked SUNY New Paltz and 16th-ranked Hobart.
