Men’s XC Competes at Leopard Invitational

EASTON, Pa.- The men's cross country team ran at he Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette College on Saturday afternoon. Several runners placed well within the Division II and III results.

A total of 133 individuals competed in the 8K event. Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa./Forest Hills) (61^st overall) was third among D2 and D3 runners with a time of 27:53.39. Petro Sokirniy (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Upper Moreland) (72^nd-28:15.44), Jacob Krott (Temple, Pa./Muhlenberg) (73^rd 28:17.46), and Kevin Schofield (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) (79^th -28:17.83) were ninth, 10^th and 11^th, respectively. Ben Martin (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot), (89^th-28:45.16) Eric Savarese (Oley, Pa./Oley Valley) (99^th- 29:09.39), and Evan MacMullin (Haverhill, Mass./St. John's Prep)(100^th-29:24.58) also had times in the top 20.

The men will close out the 2015 season in two weeks at the Landmark Championships. USMMA will be the hosts this year.
