Eagles Place Fourth at Landmark Championships
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata men’s cross-country team placed fourth at the Landmark Conference Championship meet hosted at U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday. Elizabethtown was the overall winner followed by Susquehanna, the host Mariners and Juniata.
HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata men's cross-country team placed fourth at the Landmark Conference Championship meet hosted at U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday. Elizabethtown was the overall winner followed by Susquehanna, the host Mariners and Juniata.
Conor Dimond (Summerhill, Pa. / Forest Hills) was the top finisher for the Eagles, placing 14th with a time of 28:00.64. Nicholas Simpson (Silver Spring, Md. / Albert Einstein) followed in 15th with a time of 28:04.57. Petro Sokirniy (Huntingdon Valley, Pa. / Upper Moreland) and Jacob Krott (Temple, Pa. / Muhlenburg) finished the race in 21st and 22nd place, respectively. Kevin Schofield (Madison, CT/Daniel Hand) was close behind in 26th place with a time of 28:43.18.
