Coffey Leads Eagles at Paul Short
Newville, Pa. – Juniata men's cross country turned in a strong team performance on Saturday at the Paul Short Run, finishing 21st overall with a team total time of 2:25:02.6 and an average of 29:00.6.
The Eagles were led by Conrad Coffey, who paced the team with a time of 28:47.3 to place 111th overall. He was closely followed by McClain Reamer, who crossed the line in 28:49.2, and first-year Andrew Quinn, who finished in 28:51.2 in his first collegiate 8K. Adam Gallo matched that effort with a time of 28:51.4, giving Juniata four runners finishing within four seconds of each other.
Jacob Alexander rounded out the scoring group, placing fifth for the Eagles with a time of 29:43.5. Clark Gaynor (30:37.1) and Holden David (31:05.0) also contributed strong performances to Juniata's depth on the course.
The Eagles will compete at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on October 18th.
