HUNTINGDON, PA- Kelsey Livoti (Altoona/Bishop Guilfoyle) scored the game-winning basket with three seconds left as the women’s basketball team came from behind to knock off Catholic 77-76 on Wednesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. It’s the first Eagles win over the Cardinals since 2012. Juniata improves its record to 6-11 and 4-4 in the Landmark. Catholic’s record now stands at 12-5 and 6-2 in the Landmark.

Olivia Halfpenny scored 10 points and blocked four shots for the Eagles.

HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata women’s basketball team broke a halftime tie with a big run in the second half to defeat visiting Merchant Marine Academy 68-53 on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gymnasium. The win improves the Eagles record to 5-11 overall and 3-4 in the Landmark Conference. The Mariners drop to 2-12 and 0-10 in the conference.

Eagles Drop 82-66 Decision to Heidelberg

HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata women’s basketball team hosted Heidelberg University in the second game of the 9th annual Holiday Tournament on Tuesday afternoon at Memorial Gymnasium. The Eagles led at halftime and the game was still within reach in the second half, but the visiting Student Princes used a 15-5 run late in the second frame to come away with an 82-66 victory.
