Elizabethtown Pulls Away from Juniata, 75–54
Elizabethtown, PA - Juniata was unable to overcome Elizabethtown's control of the glass and interior scoring, falling 75–54 on the road as the Blue Jays led wire-to-wire.
Elizabethtown established the tone early, finishing with a decisive 54–23 rebounding advantage, including 21 offensive rebounds, which led to 23 second-chance points and consistent scoring opportunities throughout the night.
Juniata shot 39.3 percent (22-for-56) from the field and knocked down 3-of-7 attempts from beyond the arc. Bri Bodtorf paced the Eagles offensively with a game-high 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting, adding four rebounds and a steal. Laney Gerdich chipped in eight points, five rebounds, and three assists, while Emily McCann finished with seven points and a block.
The Eagles also received contributions from Olivia Berg, who connected on a three-pointer and totaled five points. Emma Coolidge anchored the interior with five rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
Juniata forced 13 turnovers and scored 11 points off turnovers, but the rebounding deficit limited second-half momentum as Elizabethtown pulled away.
